We spent our morning at Vernon Elementary volunteering with several other families to spruce up the grounds before the start of school. There was a lot of work to be done! We pulled weeds, raked, and cleared the paths through the gardens. 
After our hard work, the boys were dragging and weren't up for the walk home. So they hitched a ride in the wheelbarrow. 
It was all good until we would hit the sunny patches on the sidewalk. The sun is back today and very bright in their eyes!
