Nate is an actor!

Nate was excited to see me before the performance!

Nate's class did a performance of the play Stone Soup today. Nate had the part of the 'scholar'. He was nervous as can be this a.m, but by show time he was good to go.

His big moment.

"The founding fathers of the United States of America valued independence."
He said his big line without a hitch.

Celebrating with a bowl of stone soup after the performance. Don't those glasses make him look scholarly?

Nate decided to keep his glasses on. I think that he felt good about a job well done.
