Since Chris and Nate's school got out on Tuesday, I thought that it would be a great opportunity for them to visit my classroom today, since we are still in session until tomorrow. I'm really glad that they were able to meet my students, and vice-
versa. Having a classroom of first grade students, as well as 2 of them at home, made for many stories about each other being shared over the school year.

While the kids were at lunch/recess, Chris, Nate, and Dan brought Subway Sandwiches for lunch. Then, they wanted to write on my easel, so I put them to work writing a Venn Diagram about themselves. (double click on image to see what they wrote.)

Can you spot the Moore boys in the crowd?
The funniest moment of the whole visit was when I asked my class to get into a circle. I looked over and saw Dan chuckling. When I got home, I asked him what was so funny. He said that he was just in awe...he couldn't believe that I was able to get 21 kids to sit in a big circle in 5 seconds flat.
That's just what you do when you teach first grade.
